Saved Hands Foundation - Employment Training
Staff

Saved Hands Foundation a nonprofit career development service was founded by Ms. Pamela Wright in 1998 in Woodbridge, Virginia. Ms. Wright a native New Yorker, enrolled in a South Bronx Youth Outreach Program in the 1970's to learn entry level administrative skills. Through that valuable basic office training she obtained employment with the New York City Police Department where she remained for 10 years.

As technology evolved Ms. Wright continued her education and training with information systems technology.  Her administrative support expertise allowed her to be employed with the Department of Defense in a professional Executive capacity for over 30 years.

The desire to "give back" is a constant motivation for Ms. Wright.  Saved Hands Foundation is a direct result of her dedicated interaction with her community and commitment to do the will of God.

When Welfare Reform was introduced into society, Ms. Wright grasped the opportunity to assist parents on public assistance to learn a skill and become self sufficient.  She developed The Administrative Assistance Career Development Program in Washington, DC in which half of the enrolled clients went on to further their education and become employed.

Saved Hands Foundation will not only offer career counseling, and employment search, we also offer interview preparedness, budget and financial planning.

Just as the Youth Outreach Program provided Ms. Wright her first opportunity to become self sufficient, she is dedicated to give others that same opportunity by providing these services at an affordable cost.
